Top notch restaurant serving excellent food. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful experience here. Enjoyed the Irish hospitality very much. Highly recommended.

Browns is definitely a higher class restaurant. Fresher, perfectly cooked food, and for me, being coeliac, an absolute pleasure to eat in. Instead of me constantly having to clarify if what I am getting is gluten-free, the staff brought each dish and stipulated which was the gluten free... no nonsense, no messing about, and I could enjoy my meal confidently. I will DEFINITELY be back

It was our second time in Browns in Town. The first one wasn't great and I thought I'll never come back, but we got a voucher for Christmas and decided to give it another try. This time everything was superb and we're both happy that we have it another chance We'll be back for more

Their other location was closed on a Sunday night, our host inadvertently mentioned that there is another one... That's all I needed to make dinner plans! Instead of the usual pub crawl we chose to enjoy a quiet dinner at Browns in Town. The local seafood chowder needed a lot of salt and pepper, but was the creamiest chowder I have had so far, period. Just the enough consistency, just the enough thickness... It only had fish and I was expecting other kinds of seafood. Anyway, it was ok. The lamb shoulder came in 2 round pieces of what looked like brisket made in medallions. This is by far THE best lamb in the world. I wonder what it would taste like with mint jelly... I thought of that flavor all evening. My husband had the crispy chicken wings and boy, were they crispy! The catch of the day, cod, was very well prepared and was sitting on a bed of greens. My dessert was a phenomenal pana Cotta with almond milk. This is my weak spot - pana cottas... This one was delicious! Beer and food wine selection and good staff finish up the picture. I would definitely recommend!!!

Was some of the best food we had on our trip. My family enjoyed their starters, main, and desserts. They treated us very well and everyone was nice. Everything was cooked to perfection!

Amazing dinner! Service and staff was top notch. It was our anniversary and we were given free prosecco which was very thoughtful. We had also requested a semi Conservative area which was facilitated. Very grateful for their service. Food was superb and quantity was surprising. We were stuffed by the time we got to our mains. Would definitely be visiting again.

Amazing flavours across all courses, and service was outstanding!

Still dreaming about the food here a week later! Visited last week on a trip to Derry after literally everyone recommended it! The good reviews are not wrong. The food was excellent. The staff were really nice and the service was quick. We had mussels, chicken wings, chicken supreme and steak. Zero complaints. Will be recommending to everyone we know of going to Derry!
